We try and keep postage and packing costs as low as we can. The best thing is to order 2 jars at a time if you are able as this has the same delivery charge as 1 jar, or collect at a Farmers Market.

Honey Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients:

240g of Little Bees Larder Chocolate Softset Honey.

115g Butter.

60g Chocolate.

30g Sift Flour.

2 Eggs Beaten.

Pinch of Salt.


Preheat the oven to 170 gas mark 4Grease and flour or line a deep sided baking tray or loaf tin 8x8 inches.Melt the butter in a large saucepan over a low heatWhen melted remove from the heat, and hand stir-in the honey, eggs and salt.Stir in flour, and pour into baking trayBake for 15mins. Cool. Enjoy :-)

Honey Date Cake

Ingredients:

150g of Pitted Dates

125g Self Raising Flour

100g Little Bees Larder Cinnamon Honey

90g Brown Sugar

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Tsp Nutmeg

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Vanilla

2 Eggs Beaten.

Oil For Greasing

60g Chopped Nuts of Choice (optional)

 

Preheat the oven to 170 gas mark 4

Place dates into a bowl and cover them with hot water. Let them soak whilst you prepare you the cake.

Grease and flour or line a medium loaf tin.

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.

In a medium mixing bowl, wisk together the vegatble oil, brown sugar, Honey, eggs and vanilla.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir till it forms a batter.

Drain the water from the dates. Chop them into small chunks. Chop any optional nuts you want to add as well. Fold these into the batter mixture.

Spoon into greased loaf tin.

Place in pre heated oven, bake for around 75mins, check to see that a inserted skewer comes out clean.

Remove from oven, cool, eat and enjoy.
